In the Clonmel High School competitions, the U/16 hurlers were beaten by De La Salle where Daire Brennan, Kevin Kehoe and Brendan Martin played their part. Paul Maher represented the Club in the Senior Football where they beat a Limerick side by 4-14 to 1-4. We wish Kevin Guiry and Paul Maher well in the Harty Cup on Wednesday when they take on Castletroy.
Kilcash NS travelled to Cahir to take on Cappawhite in the Cumann na mBunscoil Football competition. Though Cappawhite ran out convincing winners on the scoreboard, Kilcash have the makings of a very good team, with six of the starting seven eligible to play again next year. The rest of the panels from both schools played out a very entertaining game while the heavens opened, and a draw was a good result for both sides.
