U11 hurlers and footballers won south B grade winter league last 2 saturdays They beat Ballylooby last Saturday in football and beat Mullinahone yesterday to win the hurling Juvenile Results (Schools): The Kilsheelan Primary School, were successful in their Back to Back U13 county divisional championships final win, today in Monroe beating St Olivers of Clonmel by 7 points. This is a truly hugh achievement when considering the difference in size of the schools and population of catchment areas and that the team consisted on Kilsheelan/Kilcash club boys from age groups of under 10’s, 12’s and next years under 14’s, as well as some fantastic players from the Sliabh na mBan girls team. This bodes greatly for the upcoming future of the Juvenile teams in the club. Just to note in addition to this a number of the older players on the team from both clubs have now won 2 county football titles this season (club and schools), with many of them having taken 3 titles in this calendar year (last year’s schools final was played in 2018).
