Under 14 B South Final After a great victory the previous Sunday evening in the semi-final Kilsheelan/Kilcash faced old rivals Carrick Swans last Wednesday in Clonmel Óg pitch. Swans started best with two early points followed by a goal in the tenth minute. Kilsheelan fought back bravely with two points from Ben O’Connell but another Carrick goal put a gap between the Kilsheelan opened the second half brightly with two points. They rallied further with great scores but Carrick were able to keep just far enough ahead to gain victory in the end. A last ditch effort from Kilsheelan brought them within 3 points at the final whistle. Best on the night were Ben O’Connell who scored 1-8. Emmet Butler had a big influence on the,game when moved to midfield. Jack O’Donoghue worked tirelessly all night.
